VOICE

We all want to be heard and understood. Whether it’s across the audience, across the boardroom, across the classroom, or across the table.

Using warm-ups and exercises, voice work can improve a speaker’s breath and range, articulation and projection, as well as vocal mobility.

My aim is for actors to find a sense of freedom in their voice, and gain confidence in their ability to access it. I encourage actors to strengthen their mind/body/voice connection, supporting their ability to express their message and intention for listeners to receive and understand.

Using personalized programs for individuals or working to fit the needs of a large group or class, I encourage a sense of curiosity and exploration in a safe environment. I guide my students and clients in their development of stronger voice technique, and in doing so, give them the opportunity to explore their voice more freely.
